Is there a greater motorcycle name than Indian, well only maybe Harley Davidson. Indian is the American Brand of motorcycles. The Indian Motorcycle Co was originally founded in 1897 to manufacture bicycles. In 1900 they manufactured their first motorcycle which had 1.75 bhp and single-cylinder engine.  The most popular models being the Scout and Chief.  Indian reformed in 2006 and under Polaris are due to launch the latest designs next year.
